sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo it's been a while hasn't it? Well, rest assured I haven't dropped off the face of the earth just yet (but I have been busy dropping from sky islands but that's a bit off topic....)

I don't really have much to comment on my inactivity other than that I'm still working through some stuff. If you wanna keep up with my activity I'm decently active on twitter where I mostly retweet stuff I like and upload the occasional drawing. With that out of the way...

This track was started about a year ago and I mostly sat on the beginning motif without a satisfying bridge and ending... then inspiration struck me literally last week when I listened to a particular theme from the Paprika soundtrack and figured out what sort of vibe I wanted to bring to the table. Story-wise I can imagine this as a theme for the antagonistic faction, something mischievous and sinister with a bit of an emotional factor.

Some inspirations:
-Celeste - Ressurrections
-Cinderella - So This Is Love (this one might sound super random but the very first idea for this track arose after listening to an old music box that I liked)
-Paprika - Parade

Music-wise, prices will remain relatively the same. However, I'll also start charging depending on the genre and conditions:

PRICE LIST

- Song Length:
30 seconds: 5 dollars
1 minute: 10 dollars
1:30 minutes: 15 dollars
2 minutes: 20 dollars
... and so on. 5 dollars per every 30 seconds of length.

- Music genres:
Chiptune: 3 dollars base
Acoustic/Electronic: 6 dollars base
Orchestral/Anything equally elaborate: 10 dollars base
(These prices are experimental and can be negotiable)

- Originality:
If the song is a remix/cover: No major price
If the song overall is original: 5 extra dollars

- Pay upfront. Prices are in USD.

Q. What program do you use to make your songs?
A. Ableton.

Q. What's your favorite song?
A. In general, I prefer listening to emotional tracks. Corridors of Time from the Chrono Trigger soundtrack comes to mind, I can't get enough of that ostinato in the beginning haha. ASGORE from Undertale is another personal favorite of mine and something I look back on in terms of arrangement and intensity. As for non-vgm pieces, Porter Robinson's entire discography hits all the marks for me.
