While most motifs here are obviously by Toby Fox, it features REANIMATION by @keno9988v-official and a little bit of DYSMORPHOVANIA by @junnboi-the-fourth!

Mortatoriel is the "official" name of Underswap + Aftergore. It's not something we'll be pursuing much though. This was made as the one year "birthday present" to SPEICIDE, which came out one year ago today. While this doesn't religiously subscribe to any take, we did this with Tonyswap in mind, with a few extra references in there (mainly REANIMATION) just for good measure.

If you're curious about name: SPEICIDE meant "killing hope," and CONTRAMORPHEUS means "against dreams," so that we could swap hopes with dreams. Latin is fun.

While we're not exactly "Megalo people," we can't deny the tremendous impact SPEICIDE has had on Aftergore and our account. Our account has over triple the followers it had at this time last year, and SPEICIDE is what put Aftergore on the map for a lot of people. We thank you to everyone who has supported us, and there's plenty to come in the future! If you're new to Aftergore or to this page, know that while we have nothing against Megalos, you won't find much in the way of them here. Q. What program do you use to make your songs?
A. Ableton.

Q. What's your favorite song?
A. In general, I prefer listening to emotional tracks. Corridors of Time from the Chrono Trigger soundtrack comes to mind, I can't get enough of that ostinato in the beginning haha. ASGORE from Undertale is another personal favorite of mine and something I look back on in terms of arrangement and intensity. As for non-vgm pieces, Porter Robinson's entire discography hits all the marks for me.
