  Maalik Rahim Moore ( Born on August, 23 1994 ), better known by his stage name Nue York is an American rapper recording artist,songwriter. Nue York grew up in Rochester's gang oriented Projects. Maalik chose the name Nue York  because he represents his home town and always wanted to give back in the future. He started rhyming as soon as he was able to read and write. His influences are The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur. He perfected his craft in lyricism to the best of his abilities from the knowledge he encountered and signed with Imara Entertainment /a youth record label ran by Paul Billings in 2012. He's set to release his debut album "Confidence: The Journey vol.1" no set date when the album is released. Nue York is attending The Arts Institute of Hollywood to study artist development and audio production. Follow his music and the journey, he wants success as much as he want to breathe.
