Returning to Unbeyond Anthologies for another double single, Easy Password comes through with another two slices of ambient dreamscapes on “numb / coming home”.

Continuing the successful sound of the previous A/B “hovering / solitude”, this new set of tracks pushes things in an even more frigid and sparse direction. “numb” stands out with its distant percussion and vast ensemble of icy synths, while “coming home” presents the most comforting soundscape of Easy Password’s foray into ambient with its lullaby-esque melodics.

“As well as my previous release on Unbeyond, this was written in the same rough time in my life.” said Easy Password. “But in this time, I was getting hope things would become normal again after periods of uncertainty and questions, and this A/B displays that mix of feelings I had until my life got on track again.”

This track is a happy accident—a beautiful digital artifact born from a system error. When feeding the original German "Logik Mit Verräterischem Puls" lyrics to an AI for a straightforward English translation, something glitched. Instead of translating, it hallucinated: it rebuilt the heart-vs-head dialogue as a full-blown, theatrical orchestral-industrial opera, complete with stage directions, sound cues, and a narrative arc that didn't exist in the original.

What makes this artifact particularly fascinating are the German-English fragments that pepper the hallucination: occasional German phrases bleed through the English translation, creating a bilingual liminal space where neither language dominates—both become raw material for the glitch. The AI didn't just translate; it sampled both languages, creating a hybrid text where "Herz" and "Heart," "Logik" and "Logic" coexist in the same corrupted stream.

The result is this beautiful, fragmented masterpiece: a solo cello arguing with a factory clank; soaring string quartets shredded by EBM beats; a "Fragile Masterpiece" (Heart) painting with every nerve, and an "Efficient Machine" (Head) calculating stress points. The glitch didn't break the concept—it expanded it into a vivid, cinematic hallucination where emotion is "a canvas stretched too thin" and logic is "the gilded frame."

I fell in love with this corrupted output. It's the sound of a translation engine malfunctioning into poetry—a beautiful bug where "Canvas and Code" forge their impossible alloy in a space between languages.
