There's no doubt that Benzi is one of the most triumphant and prolific DJs on earth and a true master of the mixtape. Both his Girl Trapz and Get Right Radio series have achieved worldwide acclaim and praise from both fans and his contemporaries. There's no producer who wouldn't benefit from having their music showcased in the finely crafted and produced mixes. But that's not all that makes Benzi such a force in the world of electronic music, and verily, music in general. He's half of well known duo TWRK, with eSenTRIK and they racked up millions of streams with releases on Mad Decent and Capitol Records. BENZI then became the first resident DJ on Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1 and helmed his own show #BANGUERS with BENZI' that ran on Sirius/XM for three years. In recent times BENZI can be found looking to take over the music industry from the inside. He launched Parametric Records under the umbrella of Atlantic/APG and saw instant success with a string of big singles released all in the span of two years. This lead him to his current position at Steve Aoki’s DIM MAK Records where he serves as the main tastemaker and A&R.

Born in Jamaica and raised in the Bronx, DJ 007’s old-school hip-hop, reggae and R&B roots are the inspiration for his eclectic sound. He has become one of the most sought-after DJ’s, spinning at the hottest clubs, private parties and high-profile corporate events nationwide. 

DJ 007 began his successful career spinning for New York City’s favorite hotspots. In 1997, he took his talents south to Orlando where he has wowed the crowds at venues like Roxy Nightclub, Motown Café, Hard Rock Live and House of Blues, to name a few. He has also opened for some of today’s hottest musicians, such as Outkast, Jay-Z, Fabulous, Ciara, Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz.

As a widely respected DJ who has earned a name within the industry, major businesses hire DJ 007 to ensure their corporate events are a huge success. His impressive credentials include spinning for Nike, Pepsi, Hennessy, Black Enterprise Magazine, PEOPLE magazine’s American Music Awards After-Party, Teen People’s Rock and Shop Tour, People en Español’s Frankie J Grammy Party and Vibe magazine’s annual Black Music Month concert at The Walt Disney World Resort. 

His sought-after talent extends to radio and television appearances. DJ 007 was continually rated the #1 mixshow by Arbitron when he was spinning for 105.5 The Beat, Fort Myers’ top urban music station. And as a DJ for Orlando’s hip-hop group “Smilez and Southstar,” he has appeared on the Ricki Lake show, Showtime at the Apollo, Soultrain, The Jenny Jones Show, Conan O’Brien, The Jimmy Kimmel Show and BET’s 106 & Park and Rap City.
