Perhaps best known by Roberta Flack’s beautiful recording, this song was written by Irishman Ewan MacColl back in the 50’s. I recorded this on my iPhone VoiceMemos and simply added a harmony later. It’s a straight forward, simple acoustic interpretation of these lovely lyrics of love.

Dark Matter's gravity effects may be responsible for many unexplained mysteries....who knows?

What began as a collaboration with Debra Buesking has expanded to include the wonderful vocal talent of Paolo Pieraccini (@mayadog).  His singing, especially in Italian, gives the song a sweet, emotional intimacy and urgency.  A lovely honor to have him grace our song with his talent.
