Summer is coming - part 1

Well...I had to start somewhere.

Hey everyone,

This is the very first set I made.  It was mostly to just test the waters and see if this was something that I would be able to do.  The recording came out, well, it was my first one...so, terrible.  But, it was good enough to make me want to keep going, and a friend encouraged me to share my mixes.  I split the set in two, and reworked each half that I have posted as mixes 1 & 5.

As it has been three years now since I made this set, I thought I would take a stroll down nostalgic lane and re-record it.  The original recording will remain buried under the Giza Plateau, along with the lost Honeymooners episodes and the 80's Shazaam film starring Sinbad.

Deep Progressive House & Trance - Mix 001 [Original Set]

Hi guys, here is the next instalment in the Gatecrasher Experiences series. In this episode I’d like to welcome Johnny Davison, Johnny has provided a Deep, Progressive Early mix, with hints of Tribal style set builders that churn your Stomach and warms you up for the journey ahead. Starting things right with an intro track from Planisphere to set the tone, eventually progressing into the more uplifting sounds. Then a late mix from myself continuing that flow of uplifting tracks, and then delving into some harder edged Trance. Big thanks for Johnny for being involved and creating his addition to the series. I regularly listen to the Global Underground and NuBreed compilation series and thought about putting together a kind of NuBreed tribute mix, however, the style of each DJ and CD is quite unique and creating a flow proved difficult. So in the end I cut a lot of tracks and went with the 15 below, which includes some tracks Nick Warren played in his GU compilations, the rest are from the NuBreed series.
