Rich Cheney has dedicated over 30 years to house music culture. DJ and owner/founder of The Gathering and founder/partner of the former Digital Beats Collective, Rich continues to cultivate dynamic experiences through deep music selections. 

Introduced to the scene (originally an industrial music enthusiast) during the late 80’s/early 90’s, Rich has not only witnessed the evolution of house music but has also played his own integral part in the growth of the scene through the years. The late night influence of the legendary late night/after hours Orlando nightclub AAHZ, fueled the fire for participation. 

As a DJ, Rich Cheney, shared the booth with Hippie-B and Mr. Scarey at the iconic Atlanta, GA nightclub Madhouse located at 688 Spring Street. A pillar in the foundation of the late night/after hours house music and techno scene. 

Today, Rich Cheney enjoys sharing his diverse musical influences, and eclectic tastes, from deep house to techno. Through the years he has shared line ups with renowned international, and national, talents Juan Atkins, King Britt, Gavin Hardkiss, Scott Hardkiss, Ron Trent, DJ Three, Chris Fortier, Keoki, John Debo, Markie Mark (Wicked Crew), Micro, DJ Icey, Andy Hughes, Kazell, Carlos Espinosa, Kimball Collins, Dave Cannalte and Chris Harshman.  Also sharing line ups with performing artists Rabbit in the Moon and Young American Primative.
