A small project from a while back. I tried mashing chiptune elements into orchestral stuff.

Project - Hack'n Slush

Global Game Jam 2019 was a blast! We had a weekend to make a game from scratch... and of course the ideas didn't get a lot of time to cook.... so my team came up with Terra Tater. You're an alien who's family crashed in the woods on Earth. Your family has been separated and it's up to you to find them and get back to your ship. But beware! Agents of the FBI are hunting you down! It was a fun project and we managed to pull off one small trick with the music - there are 5 music layers and every time you find a family member the next layer unmutes and adds to the building tension. So I've simulated that in the song (along with the abrupt ending switch) so expect parts to come in kind of out-of-the-blue.
