War Part 1

Written using Spitfire Frozen Strings and Albion One.

Tundra

Inspired by the soundtrack to Dunkirk using the Shepherd tone to create suspense. Produced using Spitfire Albion, HZ Strings, HZ Percussion Professional. More of a soundscape than a composition really.

Ascension

Playing around with HZ Strings. Blending different articulations together. Solo Violin and Viola from East West Symphonic Orchestra, Second version builds on ideas from the first with more percussive elements and deeper bass.

Composed using Dark Zebra/2 for synths and Hans Zimmer Strings and Percussion Professional. Brass sounds from Albion One. Solo Strings from East West symphonic orchestra

Desert Suite

Trying to answer a question which is can Spitfire's HZ Strings go fast? Based on this attempt I think the answer is no! I had to substitute Albion One Spic Patches in place for the Ostinatos as the large section sizes in the HZS library (60 Cellos anyone??!) are not really suited to quick moving lines. That being said I enjoyed attempting to remake the sound of this classic movie score. Hope you enjoy.

 East West Libraries were used for Choral and solo Violin and Viola.

Action cue based on a building theme. Composed in Cubase 10 using HZ Strings, Percussion, Zebra 2/ Diva and EW Hollywood Orchestra.

Phoenix Rises

An epic orchestral super-hero style track. Written in Cubase with HZ Strings/Percussion/NI Rise/HZP and ZebraHZ.

V2 - has a different EQ to bring out mid-range sound that was lost in the original mixdown.

Urban Savior

Piece written in a classical style building to a triumphant conclusion. Written in Cubase using HZ Strings and Albion One. Experimenting with tube saturation to soften transients slightly and give a more natural sound.

Extended cover version of "Why Do we Fall?" by Hans Zimmer.

HZ Strings/Percussion Professional/Albion One/Zebra HZ and Zebra 2 were libraries used.

v2 - Extends ending and changes EQ and compression settings to optimise for Soundcloud streaming.
