Description: I took most of the lyrics from a song not completed called "Rehab from Samsara." This song celebrates my getting to use Vienna Symphonic Library in Propellerhead Reason. Cello, viola and two violins. Also, used VSL acoustic bass and jazz drums. Acoustic rhythm guitar on my Taylor. One voice track. Pitch editing is my saviour for my horrid voice.

Probably a good idea to do two voice tracks, one heavily pitch edited and the other not, then do parallel processing and blend them together so it sounds a little less obvious.

The piece describes a ride on the escalator. From the ride arises an intense rhythm, which becomes stronger and stronger.

The lyrics came quickly, purely as a poem. No melodic influence. When I decided to make a song I took a totally prerecorded, unrelated piece and made up the melody and laid the words in...  a perfect fit.
