Dos meses después de haber alcanzado los charts por sexta ocasión en cinco años con el sencillo “Así (Reggae Remix)”, el productor dominicano Giga Beat junto al cello discográfico Capitol Hill ENT, lanza al mercado un nuevo sencillo titulado “Mi Favorita”.  Un tema que fluye con una vibra fresca y elegante con un ritmo de reggaeton lento pero que retumba las bocinas.

En esta nueva canción Giga Beat une fuerzas con el artista urbano puertorriqueño Don Chino, quien en el pasado a tenido la oportunidad de colaborar con artistas como, Loopz (hijo del papa del rap latino Vico C), Irv Gotti y Wyclef Jean.  Además también a  compartido tarima junto al legendario el rapero californiano Baby Bash. 

En esta canción Don Chino demuestra mucha madurez vocal y lírical que junto a la impecable producción de Giga Beat , hacen de “Mi Favorita” una canción destinada hacer un éxito en los corazones de quienes tengan la oportunidad de escucharla.

Two months after reaching the charts for the sixth time in five years with the single “Así (Reggae Remix),” Dominican producer Giga Beat, along with the Capitol Hill ENT record label, releases a new single titled “Mi Favorita.” A song that flows with a fresh and elegant vibe, with a slow reggaeton rhythm that resonates loudly. 

In this new song, Giga Beat joins forces with Puerto Rican urban artist Don Chino, who has previously collaborated with artists such as Loopz (son of Latin rap father Vico C), Irv Gotti, and Wyclef Jean. He has also shared the stage with legendary Californian rapper Baby Bash. 

In this song, Don Chino demonstrates a wealth of vocal and lyrical maturity that, along with Giga Beat's impeccable production, makes “Mi Favorita” a song destined to be a hit in the hearts of those who have the opportunity to hear it.

When I started to work on "I pay" I prepared the chords, lyrics, trained the song and then, the moment I was about to start recording, my son came and asked for cosmic song.
Ye, all my inspiration for "I pay" was gone. And new inspiration settled in my head.

I remember I started to think about my career aspiration in his age. I was dreaming about to be astronaut, or pilot or garbage-man... My son is in astronaut phase.

It took me one evening to make him the song. And he immediately loved it so much that each time we sit in car he was asking for "cosmic one". It was top played song in the car for few weeks. I was proud he rated it between AC/CD and their "It's a long way to the top" (he called the noisy one) and Spirituál Kvintet "Beránek a vlk (Riu riu chiu)".

“That's What Friends Are For” by These Guitars Say Sorry

Recorded between Yakima and Oslo, That's What Friends Are For is a reflective, bittersweet track about holding on to connection in a world that doesn’t always make sense. Built around a simple, lyric-driven structure, the song blends acoustic guitars with gentle percussion and layered voices. The Choir of Phantoms lends a ghostly warmth, while Melina Oz (vocals), Marius Ihler (bass), and Gunnar Kjellsby (guitars, percussion, mixing, mastering) add texture and depth.
