having played live on many continents for the past 15 years mainly using turntables, computer I thought it would be time to introduce my new direction, using guitars built by Yuri Landman and processing them... Easy to install, I plug in the venue system and ready to go... 
Other than that technical aspect, here are some biographical elements:

PHILIPPE PETIT is interested in soundtracks; releasing his music on 20+ labels (Sub Rosa, Important, Staubgold, Aagoo, Beta Lactam Ring, Monotype, Southern...)

A journalist for various magazines and radio as well as a musical activist, PETIT has celebrated his 29th year of sharing his musical passions as the man behind the cult labels Pandemonium Rdz. and BiP_HOp.
PETIT has assembled what people call a dream-team of collaborators, joining Lydia Lunch, Murcof, Cindytalk or Faust onstage, and also recording with: Eugene S. Robinson (Oxbow), Foetus, Edward Ka-Spel, Kumo, Scott McCloud (Girls Against Boys), Cosey Fanni Tutti, My Brightest Diamond, Sybarite, Pantaleimon, Graham Lewis (Wire), Barry Adamson, Scanner, Mira Calix, Kammerflimmer Kollektief, Guapo, Leafcutter John, Simon Fisher Turner, Jarboe, ASVA and many more...

Ro-My is the instrumental/experimental/electronic/remix project of   Bruce Myers.

Le GRIM (Groupe de Recherche et d’Improvisation Musicales) mène depuis 30 ans une activité de diffusion, de production, de création et de formation dans le domaine de l’improvisation, des musiques nouvelles et expérimentales. 
Sous la direction artistique du guitariste Jean-Marc Montera, il accueille des musiciens de la scène nationale et internationale pour des concerts et festivals mais aussi des enregistrements, des productions discographiques et des résidences.
 Le GRIM dispose d’un Studio Musique équipé et dédié à la réalisation de l’ensemble de ses activités. La programmation annuelle se compose de 40 à 50 concerts par saison. Le festival Nuit d’hiver en décembre est le point d’orgue de chaque saison, avec les rencontres Sons de Plateaux en avril et les concerts One Shot tout au long de l’année.
 Une à trois créations ont lieu par saison. Elles associent des artistes de renommée internationale et sont soutenues par des partenaires professionnels et institutionnels. Cinq à sept sessions pédagogiques (enfants) ou de formations professionnelles (workshops, masterclasses) dirigées par les artistes de la programmation ont lieu chaque année. 

I like to be introduced as a "MUSICAL TRAVEL-AGENT".
ONSTAGE I'm mostly playing an Easel K (Buchla Modular Synth) and The Pipe (from SOMA Lab) which allows mouth-synthesis... I also manipulate unique vinyls with my sounds/musics, assaulting turntables to take advantage of the vinyl material to fondle released sounds, raking the needle across the record's grooves, rubbing their stylus on paper, cardboard, metal to process unusual noises and textures. I have a physical relation to my recordings and envision my live sets like performances. 
Gesture is also a very important part of my compositional process... While composing I am also relying on the use of real instruments such as Cymbalom, Pianos, Guitar and Percs that I play like a kid discovering a new toy, improvising and attaching great importance to gesture and stressing dynamics. My moves aren’t consensual, not cozying up potential listeners. A Punky approach even if throughout the past years I have been following courses of Composition + Electroacoustic Music at the Conservatory, specializing in Modular Synthesis. 
Pushing further my research in bringing together the Human and its Machine into a tapestry of sound which creates a deep sound assemblage of exotic Musiques Concrètes which guarantees to grow on you with repeated listens, slowly revealing its detailed richness…
