Rawthentic continues its run of essential underground heat with the Care EP - a powerful new release from Ibiza bassed duo Pele & Shawnecy, known for their raw, percussive sound that blurs the lines between House and Techno.
 
Built around hypnotic grooves and bold vocal chops, Care EP delivers two stripped-back, high-impact tracks designed for the heads down moments. The title cut “Care” brings gritty textures, infectious energy, and that signature percussive bounce, while the B-side keeps things driving and minimal.
 
With a back catalogue that includes releases on labels like Cocoon, Desolat, and Moon Harbour, and support from the likes of Loco Dice, Ricardo Villalobos, and Jamie Jones, Pele & Shawnecy continue to push the limits of underground Tech House.

Care

Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake drops a percussive tech house release by David Lowe featuring Jenny C, which has sassy vocals and rolling basslines.

David Lowe is back on Mindshake after his label debut in 2024. It's another upbeat EP featuring three tracks, two of which are solo productions, and the third is a collaboration with Jenny C.

Opening with the EP's title track, "Sonic" has liquid textures and shuffling percussion intertwining with the namesake hip hop vocal sample.

Rawthentic fires on all cylinders with Nathan Barato & Room 303’s latest weapon, ‘Stimulate’.

First heard tearing through Jamie Jones and Carl Cox’s set at the UNVRS opening party, ‘Stimulate’ is a no-nonsense Tech House groover that blends raw low-end power with hypnotic vocal stabs and crisp, percussive flair. It’s high-impact, built for packed rooms and big moments - a clear example of why Barato and Room 303 remain trusted names in the scene.

With releases on labels like Hot Creations, Saved, and of course Rawthentic, Nathan Barato continues to define his lane with high-calibre cuts that push the scene forward. Room 303 adds his signature flair to the collaboration, locking in a track that feels bold, focused, and ready to dominate sets this summer.

Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake presents a percussive tech house release by Davide T that has rolling grooves and upbeat energy.

When it comes to making music, Davide T is a skilled producer with a stripped back and hypnotic style. His tracks have been released by record labels such as Moon Harbour, Desolat, and Hottrax, earning DJ support by everyone from Disclosure to East End Dubs. Paco Osuna has been a big supporter of Davide T's music, and the tracks on this release have been a regular part of the Spanish icon's recent DJ sets.

"Wrong Ghetto" is the EP's title track, and it's got shuffling percussion and a deep bassline forming a framework for hip hop vocal phrases.

Toolroom Trax’s very own Danny Rhys is back on the label he lives and breathes, but this time, he’s not flying solo. He’s teamed up with rising star Loz Seka and together they’ve worked up a peak time banger.

Now if you know anything about Toolroom, you’ll know Danny Rhys is more than just a producer. A&R for both Toolroom Trax and Strangelove, the producer behind Toolroom Radio, and Mark Knight’s Friday Night KISS show, one of the UK’s biggest radio stations. It was only a matter of time before these two came together, both sharing a passion for Latin and percussive rhythms that makes this collaboration feel very natural. You’ve also heard Loz Seka’s name across BBC Radio 1, with regular props from Arielle Free and BBC Introducing as he starts to become a household name on the station.

Drawing influence from his love of the early 2000's Deep Tech-House scene and twisting it with todays more familiar feel of Dub, Minimal, Deeper edged Techno, Valpy manipulates sounds into what he feels is right for the darker clubs & dance floors, creating a sound that does not follow suit, bending a few 'rules' along the way...

Using his many Clubbing experiences over the years in the UK, Ibiza, Amsterdam & beyond, Valpy has developed a passion for raw emotion filled techno, often challenging the sub woofers with his bass heavy touch, without busting the bank on the tempo front. A balance of 'good vs evil' can often be witnessed in a Valpy Techno piece

Fascinated with pitch & bass, Valpy has moulded and evolved his sound into what he produces today, recently gaining support from Pig & Dan, Ramiro Lopez, Dubspeeka & Matt Minimal, who also contribute to the style & development of his tracks, along with Alan Fitzpatrick, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati & Carlo Lio

Having had 2 EP's released on dubspeekas Skeleton Label and also with Seva Records, Plunk, Lethal Script & Berberris in 2014 alone, Valpy's sound has now been recognised by fast up and coming label Gain Records, (supported by the likes of Richie Hawtin) with a Solo Artist Album due for release in April 2015. There are also further releases on Skeleton and new outfit Kitchen Smoke pencilled in over the next couple of months too

To close, Valpy aims to produce music he wants to hear on the same dance floors that he frequented over the years, experimenting along the way to produce his own unique blend, with the odd twist & turn along the way...
