James Axon is the cofounder & resident of the queer underground party Planet Love, and a resident of Dublab with his radio show "Hearing Color" -- both platforms he dedicates to underground dance music. A lifelong pianist and classically trained musician, James Axon spent years in bands and orchestras ensembles before falling in love with the timeless sounds of house and techno while studying in Copenhagen and Berlin. With over a decade of collecting dance records since, Axon now draws upon his musicality and eclectic taste as a DJ that espouses an expansive vision of dance music, often mixing seamlessly between all shades of house, techno, italo, electro, disco, and breaks.
