The label’s fourth release is a two track EP from James Clegg in the form of a driving Tech house masterpiece, showcasing catchy percussive grooves, driving basslines and unique vocal hooks. ‘TORO LOCO’ will greet ravers and listeners on the 17th of December 2021.

The EP features two dance floor ready tracks: ‘Toro Loco’, and ‘Tab’. 
‘Toro Loco’ takes the listener on a trip to the Mediterranean. This track has taken inspiration from Spanish culture which can be felt in the flamenco style vocals which drive the song

‘Tab’ is geared up to take care of the night-time. This track is the harder side of the EP. Pumping bass and a soul shaking drop, all tied together with a deep iconic vocal. This is a true warehouse track which will resonate across the globe, carrying ravers through till the early hours of the morning.

James Clegg produced the EP with “sun set vibes and peak time in mind” Clegg Showcased True talent when producing the Tracks using a “range of percussive elements carefully selected from drum machines, vinyl samples and live percussion to create a true tribal groove”. Taft “is delighted with the EP” and was “really impressed with the crowd’s reaction when played out live”

Harls have recorded a club style Tech House mix for us. It features Tribal elements & groovy vocal hooks throughout. If you aren't familiar with Harls, his bio's below.

Harls (Harley) is a 25 year old DJ from Redcar, North Yorkshire.

Harley has played at venues across the north of the UK. Spinning his tunes In Sunderland, Darlington, Lincoln, and of course his home town of Redcar. He's supported top talent such as Jacky & Peverell. Through his hard work and musical knowledge, he's built a great following in the North East. 

During lockdown he performed on various livestreams, including for event brands Psych & Deep In Sound. Since then he's played regularly for Southall Sessions and was also a radio resident for Unite Radio. 

Harls has devoted a lot of time to producing, and hope to have tracks released in the near future. You'll definitely be seeing more of this lad in 2022, whether that be behind a booth, or releasing music.

This week we welcome Manchester-based DJ YAN to the lab with this dark, rolling mix. 

Yan is a 19-year-old drum n bass DJ based in Birmingham/Manchester. Her dark and minimal sound has landed her sets around the UK supporting Bassman, Alcemist, Indika and many more. 

Her style is deep, dark dnb with techy selections, influences are Randall (@ranstar88), Arkala Dre (@Arkaladre_dnb) and R3idy (@r3idy_dnb).
