Land of the Living is a psych-blues duo out Portland, Oregon and Austin, Texas. Kivett Bednar plays baritone guitar and sings over the thunderous rhythms of Anthony Pausic on drums.

Achieving improvisational nirvana is reaching that point where you can't do any wrong, when you're improvising, it's where the brain is fully focused on listening/reacting and the body just does what it's supposed to do, and there's no thought and there's no question, and no matter what you do, it's right.
