New version with my friend´s Levin banjo from 1930:s added. New mix Jan 2023 version 9. The "silver hammer" is two sledge hammers banged together :-) First time ever I raised the key for a Beatles song, from D to E sharp. 
A "Daddy song" from Paul with 40´s Music Hall inspiration. According to me, they are 1) When I´m 64, 2) Honey Pie,  3) Martha my Dear,  4) Your Mother Shold Know 5) Maxwells Silver Hammer and 6) You Gave Me Your Answer (Wings).

But as she's getting ready to go
A knock comes on the door

Back in school again Maxwell plays the fool again - Teacher gets annoyed
Wishing to avoid an unpleasant scene
She tells Max to stay when the class has gone away - So he waits behind

He creeps up from behind
