Anyone who was at the Bedrock party in Liverpool earlier this year will know that this is a musical city through and through, so its great to see one of Liverpool’s finest up and coming talents releasing his excellent music on John Digweed’s label. Jemmy’s Bedrock debut “Quarry Bank” appeared on the Bedrock 14 compilation in 2012 and paved the way for this debut single release

“Waterloo Blues” is pure summer sunshine magic with its delicious swirling melodies and scratchy beats. Jemmy has always eschewed genre, his knowledge and love for music from right across the spectrum, as well as his own unique sound, means he appeals to a wide range of DJs, borne out by the fact that the likes of John Digweed, Danny Tenaglia, Slam & Paco Osuna are giving him their support.

Jemmy is also making a big impact on the world of electronic music with his long standing DJ residencies with Freeze, as well as for the mighty Cream across Europe. He also has the rare and impressive claim of being the world’s first ever DJ to play at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral! During the day Jemmy runs his own record shop and label – Liverpool’s world-renowned 3B Records. It’s no wonder that big things are happening for this super-talented young man!

Fellow scouser and Circus master, Yousef, lends his support with his Circus Rework of “Waterloo Blues”, taking it on a deeper hypnotic journey to create a perfect package. The top rank international DJ, producer, club promoter and music aficionado shows exactly why he is at the top of his game and so respected.

Soydan joins us for episode 15 of the Gangstercast!  While being born in Germany and now being based in Waterford, Ireland, Soydan’s roots are in Turkey. His musical influences are firmly rooted in Chicago and DJ/Producers like Gemini, Derrick Carter and of course DJ Sneak. After setting up Yakuza Recordings in 2006, Soydan quickly found favour with other Chicago jocks including Mark Farina and DJ Heather, who licensed his tracks, and he has gone on to work with some of the scenes top labels, including Guesthouse, Shak and Maracuja.

Soydan's mix comes straight from the dance floor and is his vision of the perfect party with a jacking house soundtrack.  the tracks are mixed on the fly with no pre-planned selections.  He's firmly behind the House Gangster movement and the important role it plays in, in his words: "educating some young people about house music".  A true House Gangster himself Soydan says, "House music is in my life, all day, everyday, and also at night time in the studio".  There's nothing left to add other than, TURN IT UP!

Six months after his Lost My Dog debut with ‘System Check EP’,  James Dexter is back again with another four-tracker in the shape of 'True'.

Sabino Renna aka DJ Troby started spinning records in the mid 80's in Italy. Since the 90's he has been playing as a guest and resident in many clubs and parties in the Bari city area. Since 2007 his sets can be heard on his own weekly radio show, DJ Troby In The House, that is played worldwide on many different stations. In 2008 he started releasing his own house productions, and now his original productions and remixes can be found on many different European and American labels, including SMD Records, Mercado Paralelo Music, AudioBite Records, Industry Of House, AudioBite Soulful, and Zelma. His productions have a classic soulful house vibe with a solid groove and techy and deep house elements. His productions have received a lot of praise and radio airplay from notable DJs in the soulful and deep house scene. Into 2010 he started a collaboration with top soulful house DJ and producer Francesco Cofano. His collaborations with Cofano have sweet and soulful vibes and have been featured on soulful house labels such as AudioBite Soulful and Universe Media. In 2012 he started a collaboration with Italian house master Manyus. DJ Troby is a rising house star and we can look forward to some great releases coming up from him in 2012.
He was the headliner at the G.U.R.U. Club' opening season party 2010 in Tbilisi Georgia and play as guest in many bars & clubs in his residence area. Special guest at the Audiobite Label Night at Pand 48 Club in Groningen (Netherlands) 2 april 2011.
1 time/month resident at Casa del Caffè in Canosa (Italy) in 2011 with an usual soulful house dj set called SOULOVE.
