Wow, this is already my third recorded mix of the year. I was really supposed to be chillin this week (LOL) but I got inspired in the weirdest way. You guys might not know but I'm a huge "Be Bop" Jazz fan. When I'm not playing Soulful House, nine time out of ten I'm listening to jazz. Well, this week I was doing a deep dive into the legendary Blue Note record label and I saw I video on how they produced their now iconic album covers and I decided to recreate one and I did. I thought the cover turned out nicely and before I knew it I started playing some tunes with a somewhat of a jazzy flair to them. Enjoy...

Five years ago in 2020 I was locked in like most of the world, to avoid total boredom I stayed extremely busy creating so many  different types of DJ mixes. Two of which I titled "Space Dance" parts: One and Two. Those 2 sets allowed me to musically drift away from my normal more dance friendly mixes and focus on some "Deeper" and more melodic House tunes. I stumbled on "Volume 2" the other night and I really enjoyed the groove again so was like, it's time to do a "Part 3." This set is kicked off with a 1976 futuristic classic by the great Dexter Wansel remixed by Opolopo. This mix also includes bangers from Atjazz, GU, Norm Talley, Reggie Dokes and more... Let's Dance!!!

Makin' Moves was set up in the Summer 2012, a new music and events company set up by Matt Langrish-Smith and Jamesey D. Makin' Moves nurtures up and coming talent, aswell as collaborating with established names. Matt has a wealth of experience under his belt having previously worked for dance independents Papa Records and Tribe Records UK, an internationally acclaimed label and events company.
