The female DJ duo Twenny5 is based in Basel, Switzerland. They started their career with their own event series „Heatwaves“ and has since then been playing in various clubs and festivals all over Switzerland.
They inspire the audience with melodic techno and share their love for music. Their sets bring energy to the dance floor and good vibes.

Basel at night is where we feel like our creative selfs appear. While in Winter it is this quiet city of nothing, it becomes this lively place of happiness in Summer. There is no such thing as spending a night with friends at the Rhein, simply being and enjoying the time with some drinks and good music.
When it comes to music, Basel has a very diverse culture which is what we treasure so much. We often find ourselves going to different venues and finding new interesting clubs or spots that are unknown, expanding our minds to new artists, new music and new people.

Marcelo Malta, aka “MLTX” began his career in music at a very young age, guided by his father, a multi-instrumentalist, who put him in contact with harmonies and rhythms. Drummer and Musician, he was part of Hardcore, Punk Rock, and Heavy Metal authorial bands, expanding his feeling and relationship with different rhythms, sounds & melodies. In 2015 he started attending big festivals and parties, developing a fondness for Techno and listening to renowned names, which influenced his musical taste, until during the pandemic, a friend @brml1 encouraged him to start DJing, since then he has been playing at parties, podcasts and listening incessantly. With an ongoing label project, MLTX DJ sets emerge in a #fusiontechno strand, a mix of Techno & Indie Dance / Dark Disco tracks, performing strong and dark rhythms driving the melody through the beats like an electronic drummer.
