Last weekend we had the flamboyant Alter Ego crew from Amsterdam take over KaterBlau. So double pleasure, double vibes and sassy sounds all over. 
It’s been a while since I posted a Kater set. Enjoy this high energy, hip swinging groovy set.

First time in one of my favorite floors of berlin I could not have wished for a warmer and vibrant energy on Sunday afternoon: a little faster, a little cheesier, a little juicier. 

This time felt special as Lulu came out for the first time in a club, almost a year after his accident. Thank you for the flamboyant crew that always fills the floor with colors, and all the dancers, hanging performers and twirkers that made this dance floor so special. 

Is hard to believe that 9 years have passed since I stepped in Kater for the first time, at Mira's birthday in 2015. It is a huge honor to be part of this celebration.

And thank you @anna_almani for the master, and the @kater_blau crew for hosting us.

Life on Other Planets (L.o.O.P.) is a Berlin-based live electronic ensemble crafting hypnotic soundscapes at the intersection of 60s-70s psychedelia and contemporary club culture.

No computers. No playlists. No expectations.

We transport club and festival audiences out of known space, with an improvised voyage through deep, hypnotic, and mesmerizing dance music —all created in real-time through a constellation of hardware and acoustic instruments:  drum machine, synths, electric cello, flute, vocals, loopers, and effects.

what is ‘live’ ?
In an era of meticulously programmed DJ and live performances, L.o.O.P. offers something increasingly rare: genuine musical spontaneity and risk-taking. No two performances are the same.

Our spaceship's crew features James Fish (drum machine, synths), DAEDE (vocals, flute, effects), and Simon Hoffmann (cello), regularly joined by a rotating cast of guest cosmonauts. Each performance becomes a unique conversation between musicians and audience—a journey where neither knows the exact destination.

Nation of Gondwana has a very special place in our hearts. It’s not only the first festival Caleesi ever went to - it’s also a long-standing institution for the German rave scene for almost 30 years now. We love all the traditions this festival upholds - from the famous rainbow under the fire department’s fountain of water, the Grünefeld women’s choir opening the festival at Seebühne, or Sven Dohse’s traditional closing track “Die Kugel Rollt” on Wiese….we’re humbled and touched to have the honour of playing the closing set of the Afterhour in beautiful Spelunke. Thank you for the trust <3

And lastly, thank you to you, the ravers, for being with us on a 5.5 hour journey through the rain. It truly moves us to see all your faces smiling with eyes closed, swaying to the music and letting the sound take you away. Here’s the recording of a rainy morning in an enchanted forest.
