Alfa Romero is the multi faceted duo comprised of Marzio Aricò and Lorenzo Bartoletti. Both highly acclaimed musicians in their own right, the pair combine their many years of experience in electronic music for their all-encompassing Alfa Romero project. Working together as producers, DJs and label owners, the duo explore a shared musical vision in a partnership that aims to broaden the horizons of electronic music. As producers, Alfa Romero share a passion for club friendly music. Although their tracks keep the focus on the dancefloor itself, they come with rich colours, deep emotions and strong rhythms. Their deft ability at weaving subtle melodies into the mix also enables the duo to create moments of beauty that are rarely seen on dancefloors elsewhere. A unique team in so many ways, they are unmistakably Alfa Romero.

Six months on from the release of Dorian Craft’s ‘Temporary Bliss’ LP on Diversions back in November 2023, French DJ, producer and Diversions label co-founder OXIA now returns to one of the standout singles from Craft’s critically acclaimed album, as he offers up his own unique interpretation of ‘Kilamba’.

Part of a three-track package featuring additional offerings from SIS and Clemente, OXIA’s absorbing new remix sees the Grenoble-based stalwart impart an exquisite underground energy into Dorian Craft’s majestic original, as he delivers an intricate blend of organic soundscapes, deep grooves and rolling bassline to create a hypnotic house cut that’s already been turning heads and commanding attention across international dancefloors this year.

Speaking about the remix, OXIA commented:
“We were incredibly happy with the overwhelmingly positively response to Dorian’s album at the end of last year, so it’s great to extend the project further through this new series of remixes. Kilamba was one of my favourite tracks on the album, so the decision to remix that one was an easy one; I just hope I did it justice! It’s also great to have SIS and Clemente on the first remix package, both of whom have done a fantastic job.”

Wurtz is a melodic techno producer and DJ from Italy with releases on Armada music, Running Clouds, Ritter Butzke, Somatic Records and Be Free.

Born in 1990, started his career after years of underground culture. He graduated in Milan SAE Institute (Sound Audio Engineering) and then started to produce his own music.

Wurtz is steadily growing and making his name on the music industry. 
Inspired in the melodic techno, his melodic and dark sound evoked deep personal emotions as it connects with his audience. 

Over the last months Wurtz released on labels like Armada Music, Be Free Recordings and Running Clouds. Also Cercle and Artbat added his music on his Spotify playlist.

Wurtz has been behind the decks in different countries like Egypt, Spain, Italy, India, Costa Rica, Qatar, Mexico, Chile or Lebanon to name a few, playing in festivals or clubs such as Zamna Festival, Fabrique Milano, Ushuaia, Hï Ibiza, BO18, Bar Americas and many more.

I live stream DJ sets every Tuesday (Breakdown Therapy) on Twitch.tv & Kick.com from 4:30pm - 6pm. Every session has paired VJ mixes using HalonVision, which is a custom built programmatically generative mixing system that creates a new and responsive experience each time it is turned on.

Melodic Dreams is now a monthly series streamed live the first weekend of the month on Twitch.tv and Kick.com. I record the session and the replay is available on YouTube, SoundCloud and Mixcloud the following Monday morning.

Based in Riverside CA, past residences in San Diego CA, San Francisco CA and Dallas TX.

Starting out under the moniker DJ3 circa 1996, James Halon was a resident at Record Resource and played events in Denton and Dallas TX. Moving to San Francisco in 1999, James started weekly events with For The Music & helped found the music side of False Profit.

James ran the sound system for False Profit at 43 Norfolk and put on many amazing nights at the warehouse. He has also joined forces and played with many crews and venues, including Dub Beautiful, Ambient Airlines, Space Cowboys, B-Family, Eklektic, Future Breaks, Tenderloft, Tags Trance Trip, GrooveTech Radio, Anon Salon, Trust, Wish, Mighty SF, DNA Lounge, 1015 Folsom, and many more.

2004, James co-founded Cedub Studios and moved away from DJing to focus on production and engineering for local artists. During this time he helped create and launch Fake Science as a podcast, then expanded to online digital music distribution and A&R. He produced tracks under the Cell Culture act with Chris Walcott. He also produced tracks as The Clockmakers with DJ Yap, under the moniker DJ Bespoke.

In 2009, James moved from the Bay and headed to San Diego. After taking a longer than expected break to settle into his new home, James is built out his studio and has returned to producing and DJing. Starting in 2020, James began weekly live streams, featuring new, classic and original tracks focusing on all things House x Techno. In the summer of 2021, James was invited to become a resident of the San Diego based collective Digital Cocoon.

In the summer of 2022, James once again packed up and this time moved to Riverside, CA. There he has been able to expand his music studio and streaming rig, allowing him more time to write, produce and play music. He still regularly travels to San Diego to support and participate in Digital Cocoon events and other area shows.
