Songwriting, Music Production, Arrangement. Liz Gavillet behind the sound of James Katy, formally known as Betty kills, is an multi-instrumental pop / indie rock musician based in LA. Utilizing heavy reverb, synth beats, sound bites, lo-fi guitar, and honest lyrics. A self-taught songwriter, musician & producer, Gavillet founded and ran Chicago indie record label, Good Bear Records, and currently spends her time writing and collaborating with artists.
