My composition "J", composed on September 13, 2014, in memory of J. K. Randall. This recording was made at the Tintinabulary on December 4, 2014. The piano is an 1890 Chickering 8' grand.

Little Of Me [soprano and chorus]

This sad and wistful piano solo was composed during multiple depressions in my life. I wrote the second movement while I was 13. At a time I was dealing with aggressive bullying and tremendous anger. 
I later wrote what would be the first movement while I was in Highschool and found myself becoming depressed as the relentless bullying continued. 
The third movement was written in the style of a funeral march during my freshman year of college.
Many things ended for me that year. The music composition program at my college was cut, I lost my dear pet dog, and I lost my faith due to some bigotry I experienced in the church.
I then spent several years perfecting these melodies and was able to studio record the piece in 2020, recorded by the pianist Edward Cohen. 
I hope these relentless emotional exaltations can also heal you of some of the anger and hurt you’ve experienced as you listen.
