Based in Salzburg, Austria - Markus Kanzler aka. KAMA has been a mainstay in the Austrian Drum & Bass scene for the better part of a decade as a major contributor, promoter, DJ & producer. 

Best known as founder of the legendary Austrian record label P LAB Recordings, the infamous P LAB nights have been a continuous support and essential stop for both established and emerging artists, with the goal of shining a light on the authentic, underground and experimental sides of the genre having a complete artist focus. With nearly over 100 shows under the P LAB belt and multiple EP releases on the label - the imprint is showing no signs of slowing down.

As a DJ, KAMA is best known for pushing boundaries, drawing his selection from the darker shades of deep/rolling techstep and halftime flavours. Having shared line-ups with and received praise from some of the genre’s most significant names, KAMA's discerning and considerate selection and technique have cemented him as a sought after artist across Europe.

In a logical progression, behind the scenes KAMA has been sharpening his production knife, and in 2023 gained the interest and support of Techstep pioneer DJ Trace. Through this support, his debut offering 'O.G Sound' found a home on the tenth instalment of the ground breaking Spy Technologies compilation series on DSCI4 showing KAMA is certainly one to watch out for in 2024 and beyond as a passionate and forward thinking producer, DJ and promoter.
