James Patrick is a DJ/ music producer, owner of Slam Academy and Timefog Recordings, curator of the international Spark Festival of Electronic Arts, and an Ableton Certified Trainer. He is a sound artist who thrives on bringing together the creative energy and ideas of his community. Through collaboration and experimentation, he creates immersive environments that explore the evolving definitions of sound art. His record label and events are both supported by some of the greatest names in electronic music, and his personal recordings continue to make waves in the international electronic music circuit. Through his professional involvement in both academic and popular electronic realms, James curated and developed the now internationally recognized University of Minnesota’s Spark Festival. James is also the recipient of American Composer’s Forum MECA award, among other awards.

JP teaches and develops curricula in the fields of sound design, composition, music production and more.  James is also founder of the Minnesota based electronic music school, Slam Academy.  At this Academy, students learn in a hands on environment, how to create music with Live and Max for Live.  He was a pilot member of the Ableton Trainer Certification program, and he currently teaches private lessons, clinics, and workshops on behalf of himself, Slam Academy, and Ableton, Inc.

KINNY got into the techno/house music scene at the young age of 17.  Locally influenced by Shane Williams aka  'dj big dirty' & Chad Stegall 'the noid' of UDOPIA recordings & EKVILIBRIUM recordings (a Des Moines iowa based label).  Immediately fell in love with electronic music and turntablism. Going to parties every weekend in iowa city/cedar rapids iowa, usually thrown by Amnesty'ACG3'/'THE GOAT'Coleman and/or Matt Rissi; owner/operator of SOLAR CATHEDRAL RECORDINGS, who has also been a MAJOR influence.   By 19  i had my own set of decks and the rest was history.  The last 5 years ive held a series of parties in Burlington iowa @ the washington; a live music venue..  I have also played out in St Louis MO, Kansas City MO,,,burlington, iowa city, cedar rapids, des moines- all in IOWA>also held a residency at a latenight club in gulfport illinios, Sam's Speakeasy Saloon.

Pharaosa proudly represents the underground scene of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Where for years, he has been deeply inspired by many of the local artists and events.

A percussionist at heart, he was drawn to Drum & Bass, and of course Dubstep, specifically Dungeon/Deep/Tech. Through this sub-genre, he found the sound that he wanted to be associated with. The deeper he went down the rabbit hole, the more inspired he became. Some of his earlier findings were releases by Darj, Dark Entity, Mishva, Subreachers and Leon Switch. After years of enjoying countless events, Pharaosa made his debut at Even Further 2018 with Aimerie and Kryptic Disciple. Shortly after he was asked to open for Joe Nice, and Ternion Sound at the following Subsequential event. 

Over the past few years, Pharaosa focused all of his efforts into Drum and Bass. Finding a lot of inspiration from artists like: Creatures, Bredren, Thematic, Minor Forms, & Geostatic. After spending most of 2023 creating his own sound, he started to reap the benefits of those efforts. Opening for Chase and Status, Reso, Mefjus, Camo & Krooked, and making his Infrasound Music Festival Debut was just the beginning..
