Miguel Lobo is one of the best artists of Spanish underground scene: he released recently on labels like Circus, Moon Harbour or Do Not Sleep among others and his music is always supported and respected by the big names of the scene. Now is time to shake the dancefloor with 2 amazing original tracks and a remix made by new London rising star, Antss.

'Bounce 2 Me' was built around a lovely vocal sampling and a funky bassline, enough to make you dance until the sunrise. Antss took those elements, shift it up and made an uptempo track adding his minimal but groovy signature sound. For the other track included in the EP, Miguel teamed up with Rayzir and deliver a solid track built around Rayzir's vocal and plenty of harmonies, proving the wide pallette of sounds can Miguel offers us with huge success.

Miguel Lobo - Bounce 2 Me (Antss Remix)

osh Butler’s Origins Rcrds brings some Spanish flavor to the label in the form of Miguel Lobo’s new EP Enter The Void which also features up & comer Cristian Merino on the package.. 

Between the Spanish duo, Lobo and Merino, have released on a variety of highly regarded underground labels such as Moon Harbour, Cecille, elrow, Circus, Deeperfect, VIVa and Do Not Sleep in the last few months, garnering the support of artist like Franky Rizardo, Francisco Allendes, Martin Ikin, Yousef, De La Swing, Lauren Lane and many more. 

For their debut release on Origins Lobo drops a classy 3 tracker. The first and title track of the EP is ‘Enter the Void’ a deep low slung percussive groover, with well worked chord stabs and vocals cuts creating a tune that raises a cheeky smile out when hearing on the floor.

The second track on the EP is Escuchela. A straight up rolling deep house track, with cleverly placed jazz keys giving it its identity, delicate vocal samples and it’s topped off with background chords that wouldn’t be out of place in tracks by the likes of Jimpster or even Kerri Chandler.

The last track is the collaboration with Cristian Merino, titled Underwater Luv. This has more of a house flavor to it, with a looped up swirling intertwining chord patterns, vocal cuts, and bouncing bass to it giving it a smooth and happy groove, perfect for crowds to get down to.

This is another high quality EP from both the label and the artists and one that is set to do serious damage to dancefloors globally.

Here we have the new EP of the label produced by a new upcoming artist from the endless British talent pool: Riley (UK). He already released in labels like Issues or Short Circuit and now is the time of a fresh bunch of nice tracks: 'Fundamentally Funky' is groovy up-to-date house music, 'From Da Sampler' is minimal for the dancefloor and 'Let Us Begin' is about a huge bassline and some smart samplings. A collaboration between two talents who initially broke through on the White Isle several years ago, Jamie Jones and Darius Syrossian deliver the We Bring It EP on Jones’ seminal label Hot Creations. It’s not the first time the duo have co-produced together, with previous releases like Rushing and Eyes Of The Night displaying their dynamic approach. Their latest release brims with bright melodies and club-driven energy. 

Syrossian shines a light on his creative partnership with Jones. "It's always a pleasure doing collabs with Jamie. He has a very good ear for dancefloor-orientated tracks, and I love his attention to detail when it comes to structuring a track. We both bounce off each other really well." Syrossian admits that both tracks have been rinsed already, much to the delight of discernible dancefloors worldwide. "Both these tracks have equal elements of our individual sound. We made these a while ago but held them back as they were made especially for the Ibiza and festival season. After playing them at the beginning of the season, they have more than passed the road test." 

The title tune unfurls with chunky kickdrums and a chopped-up, speedy vocal sample that winds between a thwacking bassline. A touch of tribal percussion bounces throughout the track, reflecting the Balearic vibe for which Jones and Syrossian are celebrated. On The Best Thing, a stabby synthline breaks up a wavey and tripped-out soundscape. A vast bassline dominates, with a rave-ready feel that shimmers throughout the track. 

Jamie Jones is the co-founder of the label Hot Creations and the worldwide event series Paradise. The Welsh DJ, producer and curator-extraordinaire lives in Ibiza, where the essence of the island contributes to his atmospheric and club-driven musical output. Jones’ signature style conveys a sun-kissed, spirited mood that compels his audience, whether he’s headlining Coachella or Glastonbury. Darius Syrossian is a trail-blazing artist with a back catalogue to match. The two-time Essential Mix talent has released on labels like Moan, Defected and his own brainchild MOXY MUZIK. He’s a cherished name on the Ibiza and UK circuit, pouring his soul into his work while holding down several residencies along the way. Syrossian cares about good music and even better vibes, giving back to the culture that shaped him as an artist today.

UK DJ & producer George Smeddles teams up with Behic Fellowes for a brace of slammin’ and minimal tracks for Ben Rau’s META label.  

Bursting onto the scene in 2018 with the single ‘Shake Your Body’, George Smeddles has since climbed the ranks of the house scene at an exponential rate via releases for prominent labels such as Defected, Ultra, KOOKOO and Resonance Records, and also recently launching his new label South. 

Behic Fellowes's musical journey continues to evolve, releasing many tracks for labels such as Resonance, Subtle Records, Dog Records, and CTM Recordings.  

Lead track ‘Watch Ya Scent’ floats a monologue vocal over a punchy and rolling rhythm track punctuated with jazzy chords to maximum effect, whilst ‘Barry Can’t Drink’ keeps  up the energy levels as ear candy lead lines and a pliable bassline is intertwined with swinging drums.
