"Two Starlight Carols" is a string orchestra arrangement featuring two iconic carols of the holiday season: "Silent Night" and "Away in a Manger."  Each melody is featured separately and then partnered together.  Effective harmonies keep the melodies very recognizable and easy to listen to.

This arrangement of mine is a musical reflections on the hymn tune, Resignation, a melody of anonymous authorship from William Walker’s “Southern Harmony, and Musical Companion” (1835).

Experience the gorgeous tonal palette of the violin through colorful chamber works featuring strings and winds, including Robert Schumann's lush, romantic Piano Quintet in its entirety, Reena Esmail's string quartet Zeher (Poison)—based on Hindustani raags, a world premiere commission by Alyssa Morris, and works by Bach, Bartok, Leclair, and more.

Featured musicians with Scott St. John are Audrey Andrist, piano; Eva Burmeister, violin; Aloysia Friedmann, viola; Shino Hayashi, cello; Alecia Lawyer, oboe; Katie Hart, oboe; and Spring Hill, oboe/English horn.
