Electro specialist Sinitsin invites us deep into another world on his new EP for LDI Records. On Dreams of Ashes Sinitsin unveils his passion for science fiction and the work of Philip K. Dick (PKD). His four original tracks come backed with standout remixes from Umwelt and Privacy (@privacyprivacy).

Andrey Sinitsin started out playing drums in various rock bands at a young age. But his love of experimentation and exploration took him into the world of electronic music, where he now cooks up his own fusions of IDM, techno and electro.

This release is a cinematic electro EP, full of adventure and invention.

Bio : Andrey Sinitsin (Sinitsin) started his musical journey as a drummer in a rock band. However, he has always been interested in experimenting with different genres, including electronic music. His interest in electronic music led him to dive deeper into the production realm of music creation and he began to understand how his favorite tracks were made. With this insight, he began writing music himself. He now mainly focuses on creating electro, techno, and IDM.

The decision to rebrand to Midi Mode as a name came after the previously known label title was unexpectedly caught up in a weird trademark dispute. The label has adapted to survive and will provide tracks for true believers, made by true believers into the future. As the label unveils its upcoming releases, it starts with the "Fake Reality EP", a 5 tracker with Electro & Techno Funk, housing a collaboration with Human Rebellion & Power. Electro heads should already be very familiar with the unmistakable electro sonic sounds of Human Rebellion. Furthermore to this, a fusion with the stripped back Detroit electro sounds of Power means the senses are pushed to move in dark rooms with the fierce Techno cut of "I'm a Freak". All of this is combined with a haunting and unhinged remix from Nite Fleit that's mesmerising.

Serge Geyzel, a Berlin-based artist, transcends musical boundaries by weaving together classical and jazz influences. Originating from Saratov, Russia, Geyzel immersed himself in classical piano for twelve years before embarking on a transformative journey to Israel in 1999. It was there that he discovered a profound passion for jazz, igniting a new chapter in his musical odyssey. Enrolling at the Jerusalem Academy of Music, Geyzel delved into the world of jazz piano, captivating audiences with his trio performances and diverse ensemble collaborations. Venturing beyond the realms of traditional music, Geyzel delved into the realm of electronic music production, experimenting with innovative software to sculpt distinctive sounds. His exploration yielded remarkable results, setting a new standard in musical production. Since relocating to Berlin in 2014, Geyzel has immersed himself in the city's electronic music scene, infusing his compositions with a fusion of early 2000s electronic elements and contemporary aesthetics. Drawing inspiration from analog synthesizers, drum machines, field recordings, and original samples, his music blends poetic layers with dynamic electrical rhythms. Serge Geyzel's recent releases have found a home on esteemed labels such as Science Cult, Mindcolormusic, Touched Revolutions, Brokntoys, Pulse State, Mechatronica and more, solidifying his position as a pioneering force in the electronic music landscape.
