My dear Jamesson, we have never met in person, but we often conversed from one side of the Atlantic to the other, and especially the music allowed us to erase the distance which separates Orlando from Bordeaux. Today I read that you are gone. Nothing could describe the depth of my sadness. I listen to "Burn" again, which I had the chance to mix, and for which I had played piano and done the backing vocals. Marshall cites influences such as Rihanna, Katy Perry, David Guetta, Lil' Kim, Eminem, Deborah Harry of Blondie fame, The Sex Pistols, The Libertines, Morcheeba and M.I.A. as influences for his music, those he also does not want to limit his sounds to one particular genre.

“I strive to create music that appeals to a broad demographic,” says Marshall. “The only labels I like to wear are on my clothing.”

After much consideration and pre-planning, I can formally announce that my debut self-produced EP will be entitled ‘Your Friendly Neighbourhood Hipster.’ This is a title I have considered for several years along with others and just recently have decided this would be the most fitting for my debut release. Along with a collection of old demos, I am looking to compile several new tracks with the initial completed release by Summer 2012. Thanks for your continued support.
