Richard Rands is a singer song writer from Leeds. He has been playing guitar since the start of high school and singing since the end! He has played many shows around the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire areas, including Live at Leeds Festival 2014 at the Fringe venue, Hirsts Yard. As well as being a talented solo acoustic singer songwriter, you might know Richard from his popular band, Bricks Without Straw, who’ve played big electric shows at venues such as The Cockpit in Leeds. Recently Richard spent a month in London trying to further his career as an acoustic performing artist. The trip was a huge success as he gained many friends and important contacts, as well as progressing to the final of the Be On The Scene Battle Of The Bands!! Currently he is recording his Debut EP, which will be released on the 1st January 2015. It will be available to download as well as a physical CD copy! Moved on quite a bit since I last appeared on here and I have acquired a more intrinsic sense of musical self. Still studying really, but now ready to declare myself somewhat of a musician, somewhat of a mix engineer and a producer, a sound designer, I love my synths! I'll also be delving a bit further into mastering particularly over the coming months, as I plan to release my first set of official releases, some of which you will find on here and band camp as well and as things develop elsewhere. So interesting things a cometh.

Scribble Victory are a dynamic acoustic-pop duo from Derbyshire, U.K. Two voices, an acoustic guitar, bits of a drum kit and a whole heap of enthusiasm.

One of South Yorkshire's most talented local musicians - James Taplin performs with deep passion and often total abandon, captivating audiences large and small across the country.

James has little knowledge of modern marketing or networking and, finding self-promotion very uncomfortable, chooses instead to keep the tradition of the itinerant entertainer alive and well through frequent gigs and word-of-mouth. Whilst his musicianship is solid what keeps people coming back is the incredible tone of his singing. No other artist expels air with such commitment and emotion and there's a reason people call him 'The Voice'.

Playing a huge ensemble of hand-picked, left-field covers as well as a growing number of diverse and catchy originals, James is the embodiment of good-hearted music from his lion's mane to his sneaker feet.

Frontman of blues-rock outfit Smoking Beagles, James just wants to play and write great music, and the team of musicians he's assembled are similarly minded. The net result of all this love for the job means of course that they are a lot of fun, if a bit mischievous.
