Epic Down is a duo from Leipzig, Germany dedicated to the sluggish grooves and lumbering riffs of sludge & doom, started in 2021 by Mitzschi (guitar(s)/bass) and Fabian (drums/vocals).
Influenced by primal doom, drone and stoner, the sound of Epic Down is mainly characterized by solid downtempo grooves and rolling walls of guitars, complemented by slightly melancholic vocals.

With the release of their first EP "Equinox Pt1" and it’s sequel "Equinox Pt2" in 2023, the band stepped into the light of publicity.
After signing to Argonauta Records the band was able to celebrate the release of „days of oblivion“ as their debut album in fall 2024.

Forgotten Ancestor is the moniker of James Wirth, a multi-instrumentalist from the SF Bay Area. Embracing the essence of legendary rock acts from the 70s to the 90s, including Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Pink Floyd, Forgotten Ancestor emerges as a formidable presence in the guitar-based rock scene, crafting a potent fusion of bone-chilling riffs, hypnotic melodies, and dystopian soundscapes, punctuated by thunderous, pounding drums that resonate with a primal intensity. In a recent collaboration, Forgotten Ancestor has teamed up with the enigmatic Taylor Ariel from STARSE3D on vocals, resulting in the creation of their debut self titled release.
