Ricardo was brought up around house music from a very early age as his older brother Darren was already an established dj so he use to sneak into his bedroom and practice spinning on his technics 1210’s which then led on to going to the legendary club nights at Tall trees yarm where Darren was a resident playing to over 15,000 people and on the weeks he wasn’t going there he would be in Todmorden at the out in the sticks nights dancing his socks off , from an early age he traveled to Ibiza for holiday’s then he started to collect vinyl and caught the bug he has now been playing his unique style of soulful-Jackin-classic-Afro & new disco beats for a little over 20 years !  He has played many clubs bars and hotels around Yorkshire and the Uk also as far a field as Australia, Ibiza & the Canary Islands .  He has a deep love for all things house , and also ran a successful club night called LOADED which was a themed house night and went on for a little over 5 years and now the night carries on in Perth Australia as the voices of house boat party , the party consisted of guest dj’s along with bass players saxophonist’s , and percussion players .  Currently he has held a residency at one of Leeds hottest bar’s the Alchemist on Greek street where he’s played for over 10 years .  He also has been running his own radio show called OFF THE RECORD on peoplescityradio.co.uk for 17 months and has had some amazing special guest’s such as Greame park , mark picchiotti, Kenny summit, hippie Torrales, rob roar , Darren Bouthier, Seamus haji , Dr Packer, Michael Gray and many more you can still catch all the shows on this soundcloud page .  More recently Ricardo played for La Musica alongside big names such as Groove assassin, Audiowhores, Good2groove ,Russ, Danny Humphreys, Neil Metzner which was the event of 2023, then on to playing FUNK MY DISCO in Sheffield which in his own words was a great vibe with a top atmosphere [shout to Ian art Hudson] !!  Ricardo finished off 2023 playing @ the cove bar in brighouse Yorkshire along side Andy Wilcock . So what’s in-store for 2024 you my ask - Ricardo will be playing a brand new night in pontefract called Back To House with the Hacienda Legend Mr Graeme Park & Curtis Zack who is hosting the event and Dj’ing on the night 2,3,24 @ the Northern soul club , then starting his own night and podcast called RE-Groove alongside long time friend and awesome Dj Wayne Houghton aka good2groove . Thank you all for continued support on soundcloud & mixcloud  I always love to hear your feed back on all of my mixes music has always been life ❤️  Rdf
