The Coaltown Daisies are a duo of singer songwriters who write and perform dynamic folk, soul and americana music and who have tremendous experience as performers, recording artists and event managers. They are renowned for their highly engaging live performances and steady professionalism which has resulted in them performing at sought after venues and festivals all over the country. 

The records they have released under their own Ragged Boot Records label feature some of Scotland’s most highly established musicians and have been exceptionally well received by listeners the world over; their latest release features a composition that was chosen as the original theme for World Whisky Day and won them the coveted CalMac Culture Music prize.

Hercules Mandarin are a three-piece rock band based in Glasgow, Scotland. Comprising guitar, bass, drums, piano, and multi-part vocal harmonies, the Hercules Mandarin sound veers through genres described as folk, acoustic, pop, to all out hard rock. Critically acclaimed albums "Blonde. Drunk. Brilliant." (2007) and "Fast Behind The Times" (2009) are each carefully crafted storyboards, containing 10 tracks that take the listener from one end of the sonic scale to the other, and then back again.
 
The band have toured Scotland extensively, and, in their home city of Glasgow, have filled the iconic King Tut's Wah Wah Hut to capacity. Notable support slots include opening for Matt Costa, Foy Vance, and Colin McIntyre (aka Mull Historical Society). Previous releases have received airplay on BBC Radio One, BBC Radio Scotland, Clyde One, QFM, Rock Radio, Subcity Radio, Sunny Govan, Leith FM, being playlisted by respected DJs such as Vic Galloway, Bruce Morton, Jim Gellatly, and Ally McRae.
 
Hercules Mandarin are currently working on a new album, due for release Summer 2014. New single 'Panic Button' is out now.
