Self-taught composer, vocalist, producer, and DJ, Phillip Amos Manaka is famously known as 
DJ Tears PLK,  from Seshego, Polokwane. He developed a love for house music from the primary
 school age of 12. 

DJ Tears PLK music is recognized by South African music legends like Vinny Da Vinci, Lulo Cafe, 
Lamize, DJ Fresh, DJ Ganyani, and Chymamusique to name a few. 2020 his song “I’ll Make You 
Mine” became a background song for Dia Roropa show by DJ Lovers SA. And later on, he 
became a resident DJ on the Diaroropa Lockdown Mix show on Lesedi FM, one of the top SABC Radio stations in South Africa.

DJ Tears PLK went on to work with industry giants (such as Kaylow, House Victimz Tiffany 
Rosebud and Rona Ray). Tim White, the founder of House Afrika Records, selected two of his songs and featured them in the Metro FM Awards-nominated house compilation: House Afrika Session 5. In 2021 

DJ Tears PLK was featured in the LIMA (Limpopo Music Awards) nominee for the best single category. 
Chymamusique featured DJ Tears PLK in his album that won the Best Dance Album in the SAMA
(South Africa Music Awards)

Paul Tibbs aka Lone Soldier A DJ/Producer of over 30 yrs..One of the founder members & Resident DJ`s of the renound "Sex,Love & Motion" club nights..that reached its dizzy heights during the mid to late 90`s..It`s home was at "The Soundshaft" in Charing Cross,London..where it ran consecutively every Saturday for 5 yrs..hosting many world renound DJ`s of the time,many of which are still enjoying great success today! The growth of the Brand,captured international interest,and they were soon hosting weekly and monthly events in Paris,Hamburg & Amsterdam under the same guise..as well as starting a self named Label to which Paul had a couple of releases.. specialist radio shows,including Girls FM & Point Blank FM,and currently his 2hr fortnightly show called "The D3EP Lounge" on Grant Nelson's mighty D3ep Radio network. Gig wise,regular guest slots at SOTU in Oxford with good friend and Artist “Finest Wear”. He continues to have a massive love,for all things Deep..
