You'll recognize Ian's signature funky guitar playing, wicked sense of humor, outstanding wild graphics and great taste. Ian loves his wah wah pedal, combining it to create so many infectious compositions and grooves.

In addition to being a fine guitar player with a tremendous sense of humor, Ian Tait cooks.  Both on his Strat and in the kitchen.  He's a very fine professional chef from Scotland whose specialty is pastries.   Not blowing anything up your Kilt when I say fine. Busting out some heavy funk fusion for you with this one.  We've got three of my very favorite electric guitarists featured here  - all from up North in Europe -- Anders Moberg from Sweden https://soundcloud.com/anders-moberg-1 , Ian Tait from Scotland https://soundcloud.com/ian-tait , and Marco Oversteegen from The Netherlands https://soundcloud.com/marco-oversteegen .  I had invited them all to perform on the previously released Together world jam, and we've brought them back again for this extended jam.   Extra credit here goes to Marco, who helped create the backing track with his fine rhythm playing and comping.  You'll hear it behind all of the solos.  Anders opens this up, followed by Ian and then Marco to close.  I'm doing my thing on synth between the guitar soloing.

My eldest son grew up playing keyboards, to cut a long story short, I used to borrow his keyboards at times and using the auto rhythms/bass used to knock out a tune with one finger. Well, I did play guitar so I suppose I did use more fingers but always one after the other. I quite enjoyed the sessions and recorded the outcomes on reel to reel tape  or later on cassettes. I have posted a playlist/album of these disasters on Soundcloud, just for complete journaling of my musical journeys...

The recent covers I have been doing of my early songs and recordings set me thinking... I decided to see what Suno could do with these instrumentals and this is the first - and possibly the last experiment. But I was pleasantly surprised again.

The tune includes a combination of grooves, with funk, funk rock, a little latin, some disco and a little touch of what I will call Pink Floyd.  All packaged together neatly. Dancing Fool - with Ian Tait / guitar

The funkiest guitar player on SoundCloud is BACK, with this grooving original, Can't Get Enough Of You.  Scotland's finest has teamed up with Germany's super funky slap bass marvel Mirko "Stringburner" Borach, creating what I can only say reminds me of one of the all time greatest tunes, Mountain's Mississippi Queen.  But Mountain never had a rhythm section playing with this much funk!  Ian's letting me do my thing on keyboards, and you can hear me soloing in the right channel, trying to hold my own over this nasty rocking blues.
