We're all On the Lowdown these days, trying to understand the significance of the issues around us.   And I couldn't think of a better way to spend some time than to bring together some of my very favorite musicians I have met from around the world, with our original On the Lowdown.   Special musicians contributed to this - two exceptional guitarists from the Philadelphia area - Audric Jankauskas and Stephan Lipinski, Barcelona's Sam Mendez on tenor sax, and Germany's Mirko Borach playing the beautiful fretless bass. Jazz/Fusion keyboard player, composer and producer.  Marketing, advertising, publishing and sales career.  Originally from Chicago, where I developed a strong appreciation for the blues and classical, and moved to New York, where jazz and the fine arts are so deep.  Key musical influences include Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Zawinul and Weather Report, Chick Corea and Return to Forever, John McLaughlin and the Mahivishnu Orchestra, Stanley Clarke, Scott Henderson and Tribal Tech, Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Emily Remler, McCoy Tyner, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Larry Young, Buddy Guy, Santana and Earth Wind & Fire.
