This is quite a unique mix that only you can conjure up, Jamie! :) Very cool using modern synth against vintage organs and adding some of Mirko’s funk bass. Indeed, this is a unique version. Very cool!

This may be the first time Oye Comme Va has been recorded without an electric guitar, but we have Mirko Borach's beautiful bass playing instead, over this classic Tito Puento latin groover.  Stringburner's so great and love the groove he's set and the extended soloing through the middle part, which features his awesome sound and soloing.

Jazz/Fusion keyboard player, composer and producer.  Marketing, advertising, publishing and sales career.  Originally from Chicago, where I developed a strong appreciation for the blues and classical, and moved to New York, where jazz and the fine arts are so deep.
