This track was recorded live in one take inside my garage to a multi track recorder .. than dumped into my DAW in the studio to edit and mix .. started and finished the track in ONE NIGHT.

Following on the heels of releases on labels as Etruria, Cocoon and Elevate, italian-based DAST makes his debut on OFF Recordings.

The EP kicks off with "Raid Zone", a classic and timeless piece of spacy bigroom chord techno.

"System Failure" with its unsettling lead takes things more towards the latenight realm.

And Juan Sanchez delivers an even more stomping and peaktime interpretation of "Raid Zone", perfect to "destroy" festival dancefloors.

2016 was a standout year for Alan Fitzpatrick, with the Drumcode stalwart racing out of the gates in spectacular fashion with the release of his fabric 87 mix. A substantial amount of high profile shows followed, including appearing at the inaugural Junction 2 festival and closing the car park to a packed-to-the-rafters-crowd at Drumcode Halloween. He returns to Drumcode with ‘Brian’s Proper Dun One’, marking his first appearance on the label since late 2016 when he remixed Moby’s seminal ‘Porcelain’.

The release opens with ‘Brian’s Proper Dun One’, a track which caused a Twitter meltdown on Alan’s profile when he first started playing it at the tail end of 2016. Loaded with sharp and pounding drums, this is an ethereal experience from start to finish and packs a real punch. It’s a no holds barred, certified main room anthem. ‘Wait A Second’ feat. mc r1bbz has been a staple of Adam Beyer’s sets of late and has been getting a lot of air time on Drumcode Radio. This rave inspired track takes a raw, stripped back approach and delivers a real killer blow. Alan sampled the vocals of mc r1bbz from an LTJ Bukem tape pack from the early 90s and the record tips its cap to early jungle raves around the M25. The release closes with ‘Trance, Init?’; A homage to Alan’s days first and foremost as a raver before he became a DJ, with his non-purist attitude when it comes to electronic music shining through. The breakdown is sure to be a hands in the air moment at festivals all over the globe this summer.

Hungry Music has since five years carved out its own magnificent niche in the electronic music world, and it is now returning with its second remarkable summer release. It is coming from N'to and features a fresh, arpeggiated and hypnotic beast entitled "Alter Ego". 

"Alter Ego" is a gloomy slow burner with melancholic chords that are nailed right onto the super-tight groove. The growling bass line adds to the already enormous sonic spectrum. "Alter Ego" is another atmospheric masterpiece by N'to that will surely make its mark on the dancefloor.

Variance are proud to present our 36th release, this time we welcome to the crew, Barcelona based artist, RNXRX, with an incredible five track EP. Broken, Nosey, Industrial Techno is on the cards for this release, with a lot of variation throughout the EP. 
A "Sound artist, producer and DJ born in Argentina and raised in Italy, and living in Spain." RNXRX is not new to making mutant industrial techno noise, he caught our eye a few years ago, at Variance we feel as though he is destined for big things, and we are happy to finally have a release from this incredible artist. 
Moral Witness EP is crammed full of bangers, each track brings a different vibe to the table, but with a very distinct sound, that has been years in the making, this young producer will grace us again, thats a certainty. 
Kicking off with the title track "Moral Witness" a beautiful broken beat banger, sets the tone for the whole EP, ebbing and flowing with perfection. 
Followed up by "Orphan Locust", hard as nails, Industrial strength banger with eerie vocals throughout, really not to be missed, the whole release is just fantastic. 
Onwards from that we have the first four on the floor banger, Ancestral Data Memory System III. While being a straight up banger it also has a unique groove, and continues with the authentic originality of the previous two, these are tracks that can only be made by RNXRX, his mind, his art. 
Finishing off the EP we have two mixes of "_Eve of Iron (IVVI)" both of which keep on the "theme", intentional or not, of the EP, smashing through the walls of perception into another plain of sound. The "Reload Mix" being a lot slower then the "Original Mix" it flows fantastically and finishes the EP off with a demented twist. 
This EP is one to behold. RNXRX is just getting started. Watch this space.

Jamie Anderson initially made a name for himself in the mid-90’s UK Techno scene with releases on Rotation, NRK and his own Artform label to name a few. Taught by musicians whilst growing up in West London and trained in improvisation and keyboards whilst living in Bristol Jamie additionally developed into an avid record collector, studio engineer and DJ. Throughout the 2000’s Jamie delivered highly acclaimed productions on some of the world’s most respected labels including Rekids, International Deejay Gigolos, Cocoon, Outland, 100% Pure along with albums on NRK and Harthouse. Now based in the city of Berlin Jamie is currently honing his talents for releases on labels such as Flash, On Edge Society, Bedrock, Alleanza, Fossil Archive and Elevate.
