L’America is an independent record label that was founded through a desire to develop and nurture real artists in this generation of “disposable music”. Our mission is to work hand in hand with our artists using long term career building principals and, as artists ourselves who have been through the business, to do away with the outdated record label models that are still being used today.

Alex Melis began his musical journey at the age of 8 as a member of the Loutraki Symphony Orchestra, where he learned to play wind instruments. Growing up in Corinth, Greece, he quickly developed a deep passion for electronic music-especially House-and soon took his first steps into DJing and music production.

Born in 1995, Alex made a name for himself early on by collaborating with top clubs in his region and gradually expanding his presence across Greece. His talent and energy behind the decks have since taken him abroad, with performances in Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Cyprus, and beyond.

Throughout his career, Alex has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Oxia, Stefano Noferini, Miguel Bastida, Nakadia, Shlomi Aber, Piero Pirupa, Neverdogs, Proudly People, CJ Jeff, Mahony, Mikee, Xenia Ghali, and many others.

His productions have found homes on respected labels like Erase Records, Baikonur Recordings, Datagroove Music, Pure Enjoyment, Strictly Records, Monkey Stereo Records, Spira Music, Hibernation, Disguise Records, Talk Of The Town, We Are Klexos, and more.

Page 97 is an up and coming music producer and DJ in the house music scene. This fella has firm roots in tech-house and an intuition for all styles which has led to him packing out dancefloors in popular venues including the infamous Ministry of Sound, Pambos Napa Rocks, 02 Academy Brixton, and Engine Rooms Southampton.

 

Expressing his passion for music at a young age was difficult at times as he couldn’t quite get the hang of playing musical instruments, but after several years of perusing the music he loved so much, Page 97 found his home in tech-house music and hasn’t looked back since.

 

This born and bred London DJ now spends all of his time in the studio and creating the pumping tech-house grooves that got him signed to record labels such as Deep Down Dirty and Crossworld Records. His music has also been featured on Beatport’s hottest compilations including Re:Vibe, Reflective, Club Sessions and Play This!

 

Page 97 can also be found live streaming DJ mixes and studio-sessions on Instagram and interacting as much as possible with those who share his love for music.

 

After rocking Cyprus’ most loved clubs and beach bars back in 2018 during his first international event, he was made an official resident DJ for the Houseparty events team and has continued to perform across the UK and internationally at their parties.
