Singer songwriter Emree Franklin’s music combines indie pop vibes with her own genuine storytelling style, influenced by artists such as Sheryl Crow, Lana Del Rey and Fleetwood Mac. Emree’s style is deeply autobiographical, edging on cinematic as she writes to the imagery in her mind. 

Emree grew up on a small farm on a remote island in Washington’s Puget Sound. In a unique environment of pilots, falconers, skydivers, and even filmmakers when the National Geographic and Disney Channel began shooting documentary features on her parent’s studies of Peregrine Falcons, Emree began singing, writing songs and performing from an early age.

Now, with experiences ranging from special live performances including St Jude’s Seattle Songwriters Session to Joan Baez, to the 2019 Voices for Change pre Grammy event for Citi, Emree’s career continues to flourish. She also writes for NYC Publishers Princess Lola Music, securing placement of her song Up All Night on the Amazon Prime series Hanna, while receiving 3M+ Spotify listens as featured vocals/lyrics for Colors (When I Think Of You), a collaboration with mix duo Curt Reynolds.

In December 2019, Sheryl Crow selected Emree to mentor for Women Who Rock: Music & Mentorship, a broadcast and online series in support of #SeeHerHearHer, created by NBC’s Today Show with their sponsor Citi. Coinciding with this, Emree released her single, Hurt Forever, landing at #5 on TuneCore’s top 100 New Music Friday playlist, while also on BMI’s featured playlist.

Emree is a multi-dimensional Artist, both actor and singer/songwriter. Recently she landed a lead role in the Netflix Top 10 docu series HEIST, airing now and produced by the Oscar winning production company, Dirty Robber.
