This, the title track from another forthcoming collaborative release with Hammer (an artist the Belfast boys are putting serious muscle behind) is equally tense and beguiling. It hooks you in from the word go, with a nagging piano lead, ooft-y mini breakdown and shiver-inducing sirensong calling through the mist. Close your eyes and you can imagine "Dahlia" laying waste to festival stages – oh wait, that actually did actually happen at Bicep's homecoming BR. Go figure.

Thumpasaurus is an insane 5 piece punk/funk band, that formed in LA at USC while I was in college. I'd see these guys tear it up at rowdy backyard house parties or in people's living rooms where sweat would drip from the ceiling... I cant explain how formative it was for me musically to see Thumpasaurus. They reignited my interest in live music, bands, etc. They're a huge musical inspiration of mine. 

This is a collaborative EP I made with the homies from Thump. Wayne's World is an original, sparked by an iphone recording of the bass player, Logan Kane hitting a beer bottle with a drum stick.. The rest of the EP is a bunch of edits/remixes that range from a simple DJ edit of I'm Too Funky to completely reimagined versions of songs like Space Barn and Dance Like It's Your Life. 

I'm such a fan of Thump, their music, their live show, and the guys themselves. Henry Was plays drums in the Fantastic Voyage Band and also has a bunch of original music coming thru the label! 
Paul Cornish, Logan Kane and Henry Solomon are world class Jazz Musicians who are seniors at USC. They're all prodigies who are gonna be insaaaanely big in the jazz world individually. Then there's Lucas Tamaren who I hear isn't originally from this planet. Lovechild of Rikki Rikki Goose and some crazy Tiger in an outerspace barn house... 

Anywho, hope you dig the music and keep an eye out for Thumpasaurus (they have a full length album on the way!)
