          why is it my head seems a thousand degrees
          but everything else seems about to deep freeze
          and why does it seem to get harder to breathe
          every time, any thought in any change in the season, 
          occurs to me

          why is it so hard on December twenty six,
          when it's all over, and i keep the lights lit,
          to breathe, the air is thick; why did it go so quick?
          every time, any change, when i have to rearrange, 
          why does it all make me feel so sick?

          if i don't get enough done, anxiety will rule
          and if i do it'll get me later because i'm always it's tool
          when the weather gets warm, it'll seem hard to breathe
          when it gets cold the same feeling always seems to take over; 
          it is the master of me            

          it's become a tradition; i have to hold on
          or else anxiety will cause my air to prolong
          it's hard to get through this; can only hold breath so long
          by now i should be asleep; should forget this; 
          should be in a dream-mare time and long gone
         
          an escape from the rape of solitude is mandatory
          a drop of oxygen in here would be all the glory  
          a low ringing monotone hum is the last focus
          i'll meditate and i’ll medicate; and i’ll patiently wait,
          for the hocus pokus.    

          just keep living; keep telling myself i don't care
         just keep dreaming, of the strength to extinguish the fear

parT II. lyricS;

          hanging on, gradually less able          
          walking down an ever thinning cable
          under frail legs that prop a lead table
          wishing for everything to be more stable

          you can hear the struggle; the continuous tug
          counting one two three; playing through this lug
          hold on to the good; sweep regrets below the rug
          blanket them with dirt and fill the hole that was pre-dug (anyway)
 
          and sit there, and stare there and wait for the wall
          to come back with feedback and have an answer for it all
          as to why is it anxiety always comes to call
          and why does it always feel like life's about to fall

          and why does it seem this weirdness is too weird even for the weird
          where's the off switch for anxiety; why is it so hard to just not care

          and why can't it be like everyone else; comfy in their minds
          never even occurring to them anything that they hide behind

          hush now, throw in the towel and tuck yourself to sleep
          you may be all alone but all your thoughts are yours to keep
          and now dim your light; lay there content and slowly count the sheep
          thy inner self is always at our disposal for us to reap

          no one says that they would like to die alone
          but it can happen; into that we're sometimes thrown
          our own perception is all that we can ever own
          It's the closest thing to that thing that we can call home

1:21 and still you sit there, in the smallest possible square
        wondering why all those around you still make it so unfair
        as much as you might hate to admit it, it’s time to look in the mirror
        you know you’re your own enemy; you got to end that fear

        (kill the part of you that is constructed of fear)

        might be worth it to yourself to make that dare
        the fresh air might help the chaos inside your head to clear
        a night time walk down an empty pot-holed street is choice therapeutic care

0:54  good morning! and we hope you been enjoying your morning, since all last night
         thanks for joining us but if you’re like us you’ve probably been here all night
         this is jamie richardson with our top topic; when does morning become night?
         when does morning become morning; at what time is day no longer night?

         we dream of our perfect night as we sleepwalk through the day 
         we dream our own utopias but that world is far away.
         these points are our topic here as far as we can say

are asleep in the day dreaming of a night we wish could forever stay


2:20  on a plain, finally on the right plain, the plain for where i need to remain
         the space where my wish for oxygen is granted
         and i’ll try not to take that for granted

3:24  my own ideal zen; empty of soul and full of air
         yes could ask for more; for there’s more for which i care
         but no need to be greedy; there’s others with more despair
         but still i sit wishing for some bandaid of repair
