💬 J Plates x DJ Paradise return with their follow up ‘You & Me EP’, featuring three lush Atmospheric Jungle numbers sure to please fans of old and new alike; expertly mixed down in true analog fashion! 

Composed during a brief return to NZ in 2023 during an untimely visa debacle, J Plates joins forces with Hamilton City Junglist: DJ Paradise | @djparadise07 (Backlash Records | @backlashrecordsuk) to bring a selection of thought provoking Jungle tracks hot off the heels of it’s predecessor ‘It’s Not Over EP', released earlier in the year.

Lead single ‘You & Me’ establishes the senses with immediate surroundings of nature, fluid vocal movements, and a dreamlike sub-consciousness that weaves throughout the arrangement.

B side ‘Get A Rush’ follows next, featuring a complexity of layered pad & synth lines; it’s developing melodic elements evoking a tempered nostalgia, while it’s brooding bass line holds it all together.

Closing number ‘Dance Tonight’ picks up the pace with it’s frantic drum work & euphoric vocal chops; delivering a more melancholic contrast with it’s varied synth elements drifting throughout.
