This song. Good lord this song.
I've been working on this [[little nipper]] for upwards of around a month now, but faced adversity due to going on vacation + subsequent weeks of busywork and general demotivation. I did NOT like how my initial outline for this cover sounded, and couldn't push past the second leitmotif section even though I'd been itching to cover this track since it came out.
I finally cracked and reeeaally drilled into this song two days ago, and because of that brief stint of inspiration, it's finally ready! Didn't really mix it after exporting but I'm so done with working on this song and wanna get more projects out of the way, haha. Who knew all it would take was a little... creative freedom?? ;DD ;DDDD ;;;DDDDD ;;;dDDDDdDDD


I tried to make the lead instruments near the beginning and end sound "kiddy," but there's still a bit of sassy grunge retained from the first version of the song, such as the heavy snare. Still, I tried to spin things in a more emotionally-driven direction to better suit new Camellia. This is also my second time making a really "electric" song (first was FOLLOWED), so I'm glad I got the practice in... I really want to make more original music like this.

I sampled a lot of audio for this one, but chief among them (to me, anyway) is "Plash, Plop, Gurgle" from MadRatDead! I misspelled the game's name in this description for 2 months before I noticed! Kill me! What better way to capture the essence of Camellia, by using music... composed by a different Camellia!
