I got the feeling when though there wasn't so much technology but still there was so much power in music.

Smooth R&B.....Cool Cool Cat was written for my recently completed fictional book trilogy 'The Fearless Five'. Set in the mid 60's through mid 70's it follows the adventures of five teens through three specific stages of their teenage-hood! Two of the characters form a blues/rock band 'Constellation J' which goes on to find fame and fortune firstly in Australia then in the USA. Of course there's pain and suffering along the way and as usually happens the band disintegrates. But not before they put out their hugely successful fictional album 'Universe'. All songs on the album were written by me (David J McMullen) and most are now recorded. The lyrics for all the songs are also included in my new book 'Just Add Music' which is available from amazon.com barnesandnoble.com or directly from my website sbpra.com/davidjmcmullen

Remind Me How We Fall

Author/poet/songwriter. My family tree is littered with literary folk the most notable being the iconic Australian author/poet Henry Lawson. So, one way or another, I guess I was always destined to be a wordsmith. Music has also always been a major part of my life and over the years I have formed relationships within the music industry with those more adept at creating music than I am. The results of some of our collaborations can be heard right here on sound cloud.
