JANKO LASIC a.k.a. DJ JAN FRENSIN was born 1982. in Zagrebu,CROATIA. Since young age Jan showed great interest in electronic music and everything around it. In 1997. he buys his first turntables mk2 anddjm600 and JAN FRENSIN was born. At that time the techno scene in Zagreb was growing so techno becomes naturaly first choice of this dj.For next 3 years he plays in lots of different venues including Kashina, Mikulichi, Sokol, Gap...After few years he meets DJ Barta and together they team up to start up a new techno / housenight in town HOUSESEQUENCE in Arion Club. As Jan hunger for new music grow he become more and more drown into mellow side and with it Kontrapunkt @ Aquarius becomes one night that will influence the most this dj. In a year 2002. dj Jan meets dj Vex ,a man with unique love for all music that can move you , your body and soul ,and two of them start new night in club Masters inspired by Nu-Jazz-and all his bits and pieces...--- JAzZLoUNgE---
Inspired by all this new music he opens
The Jazz Club , live music lounge clubu in Zagreb, which soon becomes one of favorite places for art and live music .Under influance of other live music artist playing every day in his club he starts up his own bend RADIJATOR in which he performs all drum parts live and samles on his KORG Electribe. As a dj Jan is a totally different story because his set are always a good told story for you to listen from begining to end with a lots of little magic dj tricks up his sleave ,one thing is for sure ..Its never boring when Jan is playing...So dont ask me what kind of music dj Jan is playing today couse it goes from deep, tech, progressive housea and minimal, tribal, hard techna and maybe even breakbeata, nu-disca, future jazza... These days mostly you can hear him play at popular Zagreb clubbing place Sirup, where hes has been resident for two years and host two of his own music venues. What matters in the end is that Jan¨s music makes people happy and happy people love to dance :)
