Janay Saxon: A Multi-Talented Singer-Songwriter

Janay Saxon is a dynamic singer-songwriter of Portuguese (Brazilian), Dominican, and Jamaican heritage. Born in the United States and raised in Connecticut, she has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous Grammy Award-winning producers, including Ryan "Ghost" Bowser, JArmz, The Real Charlamagne Tha God, Descemer Bueno, Juelz Santana, Snoop Dogg, Emmanuel Deanda (of Pretty Ricky), Grandmaster Flash, and many others who have significantly influenced her musical journey.

Janay's musical journey began at the age of 9 when she started playing the piano and writing her own lyrical compositions. Her artistic influences span a diverse range of iconic artists, including the Spice Girls, Mariah Carey, Amerie, Jazmine Sullivan, Missy Elliott, Sade, Roberta Flack, Koko Taylor, and Ciara. 

In addition to her vocal talent, Janay is proficient in multiple instruments, including the piano, harp, violin, xylophone, koto, and bongos. This extensive skill set allows her to create and write music across various genres, such as R&B, Hip Hop, Blues, Gospel, Christian Worship, Bachata, Brazilian Funk, Country, and Pop.
