Bedroom Programmer - You Will Do

Here's my first track for 2023. Going back to one of my favourite styles to create, I was thinking a lot about how people talk to others and how hard it seems to be for some to talk to others in a loving and caring manner about difficult subjects, in a kind and respectful manner.

Also there's been rain coming through our roof for two months in winter and our landlord is refusing to do anything about it, I suspect that's what caused me to add the rain and to use such a melancholic vibe.

Drinks On Me - Makka's on the Packet (Beat Battle 29)

Originally intended to be part of a concept album about death and thereafter. This is now one of only two tracks which were finished.

This was to be track 2, where the protagonist drifts in and out of consciousness in the back of an ambulance while the paramedics try to stabilise them.

Eventually they die and find their soul left alone by the side of the road in the middle of the night.

Wake No More - Bedroom Programmer

This was originally intended to be the closing track on a concept album about the death and afterlife of a character. Sadly only this and one other track were finished so I'm releasing them as is.

Having made peace with their regrets and taken time to visit all those they loved, the protagonist finds themself in a cozy cafe at the end of existence.

Who knows what comes after the band finish playing.
